Product Overview
The SUS2040RB is a large-roller double-pitch stainless steel sprocket designed for No.2040R SS (also known as No.2042 SS) roller chain. The critical distinction from the SUS2040SB is the roller diameter: where the SB uses a 7.95 mm small roller identical to standard No.40 chain, the RB uses a 15.88 mm large roller — the same diameter as No.80 chain. This large roller enables the chain to ride on flat or curved conveyor tracks and curved guide rails, making the 2040R / 2042 combination the standard choice for overhead power-and-free conveyor systems and track-guided product carriers.
Machined in 304-grade stainless steel at our Hangzhou plant, SUS2040RB covers 10 through 13 effective teeth and replaces Tsubaki 2042 stainless, Renold 2040R double-pitch, and Rexnord 2042-series components with factory-direct pricing and short custom-bore lead times.
